things I am grateful for, things I appreciate, things that soothe, settle and comfort and inspire me

1. a chance to grow solidly into middle age-a privilege denied to many

2. a flower growing in a crack in a sidewalk (I’m rooting for the flowers)

3. my mom-what an inspiring and wonderful woman

4. ditto for my dad & grandma-I sure had a lot of loving beings in my childhood

5. the sound of the rain

6. a pump to move water out of my basement

7. a furnace

8. my bathtub

9. peepers

10. djembes & dunduns
