Bittersweet | by Susan Cain

One of the best books I have read this year. I remember taking a trip to Hawaii with my dad when I was in my twenties. On the road to Hana, we stopped at a breathtaking spot where he sat on the rocks and was overcome with tears by the beauty of the waves crashing on the rocks. My dad was the epitome of someone who feels deeply. If you cry easily at movies, or feel taken by emotion with music or beauty, then this book will not only validate but glorify a characteristic that you may not have always understood. And if this is not you but you want to understand the people in your life who are like this, this is a great book for you as well.
